In this collection, Stratum refers to geological layers of material formed over time under pressure, marked by mineral presence. The works take the form of idealised core samples that echo the sections extracted to study the earth’s structure. The textured yellow gold acts as a cut plane, while gemstones are set as mineral deposits revealed within the cross-section.
